Jadeas Trust is an educational and cultural foundation that recognizes that the twin pillars of education and
culture are Africa’s best hope for leap frogging the ever deepening development divide, and taking its rightful
position in the 21st century.
Jadeas Trust has been offering Business Development support to SMEs in the creative industries on a Pan African basis for the
last 20 years. In this time they have nurtured, mentored and provided a platform for some of the most successful Pan African
brands in the fashion, film, music and publishing sectors. They have also built up a global network of relationships and grown
to understand the challenges and difficulties faced by the Global African Creative and Digital Industries.
They received a grant from the World Bank in recognition of their pioneering work in this sector.
Jadeas Trust was one of the co-curators of the New Africa Design Exhibition in Copenhagen and Oslo. They were consultants to
the organizers of the Shanghai World Expo on the creative theme for the Africa Pavilion.
Jadeas Trust are co-promoters of the consortium that are the preferred bidders for the Concession Management of the
National Theatre, Lagos and the surrounding land mass via the PPP process of the BPE. The vision is to transform this derelict
And under-performing National asset into a platform for the Global Africa Creative and Digital Industries.
